seems like sometimes things just never stop to let you catch up.
Been working on keeping the lab cool enough for mushroom cultivation.
Not an easy thing sometimes. The labs temp was reaching into the high 80's.
Not a good thing. Installed an AC and am now keeping it about 80 at it's warmest. Along with a fan in the doorway pulling air out.
Haven't been able to get much done in the garden, just too hot.
Plus the mushrooms are eating up alot of my time.
I hope to get a few things planted this week when they say the temps will cool down some. Sure hope they do.

Our foray was a great success. We found a fair amout of Morels ang got to make some new friends. The Travel Channels film crew and host of the show, as well as the producer were just a great bunch of people. We had a big BBQ after the hunt here at our house and ate like kings......and quens.
We really couldn't have asked for a better day or better people to be with yesterday. Got to get some things done today since we took yesterday off to be in the woods. I'll get a few pics up here later.

is going to be a busy one again. Have to finish up some work with the shrooms and then go scouting out some spots for our foray tomorrow.
We finally got the rain we desperately needed, sure hope it will bring on one more flush of Morels for us.

After a good day of rain yesterday, it's time to hit the woods. Going to hit a honey hole I found last year. It was a late producer, but I think the season is progressing faster than it did last year. So with any luck we'll hit it big and I'll post some pics later.

really busy day. Have to make an immense amount of bulk sustrate for the oyster mushrooms, as well as inoculate the Shiitake grow bolcks. I guess the morels will have to wait to be picked tomorrow. LOL
Have a lot of cultures that ae doing great. Going to make more Agar when I'm done with all the other stuff. Like I said it's a really busy day.
